Christa graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (Cambridge) in 2011. Since then, she has gained experience treating many different conditions.
Christa was eager to continue learning, and in 2012, she completed advanced training with certification in the Dr Vodder method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT), offered by the internationally recognized Dr Vodder School.
Completion of the 160-hour intensive training program makes Christa one of the approximately 1000 certified therapist in North America currently certified to practice this specialized technique.
Christa has put this training to good use, successfully treating a wide range of conditions, including: post-fracture/surgery swelling; sprains; pain and swelling associated with arthritis, pregnancy, varicose veins; lymphedema; chronic sinusitis; Bell's Palsy.
Christa takes a whole body and mind approach to treatment, and as a Reiki practitioner, incorporates this into every massage therapy treatment.
